Chapter 1 General Provisions 1.1 Purpose of Compilation: In order to ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance and upkeep of the miscellaneous elevator, and to guide the operators to maintain and upkeep the miscellaneous elevator according to the established prescribed methods, this operation manual is specially formulated. 1.2 Scope of Application This process standard is applicable to the installation of traction driven miscellaneous elevators with a rated load capacity not exceeding 300kg and a rated speed not exceeding 1.0m/s. 1.3 Referenced standards and safety regulations (1) GB 25194-2010 "Safety Code for Manufacturing and Installation of Service Elevators"; (2) TSGT7006-2009 Supervision, Inspection and Regular Inspection Rules for Service Elevators - Traction and Forced Drive Elevators;
