Maintenance methods for elevator frequency converters

Update:2019-06-13
Regarding the daily maintenance of elevator frequency converters: Nowadays, elevators are controlled by frequency converters. When the frequency converter malfunctions, it can cause inconvenience to many people and also cause emergency damage to management personnel. If frequency converters are maintained regularly, the failure rate of frequency converters can be greatly reduced. After repairing a large number of elevator frequency converters, we have summarized several issues to pay attention to in daily maintenance:
1. The temperature in the elevator electrical room should not be too high, otherwise the frequency converter components are prone to aging. Equipped with air conditioning, the effect is quite good!
2. To prevent rainwater from getting wet, it is usually during typhoons that windows and doors are blown away by the wind, causing the frequency converter to get soaked in rainwater.
3. Lightning protection is related to the lightning protection facilities of the entire building or community, and frequency converters that are struck by lightning are generally severely damaged.
4. The cooling fan of the frequency converter needs to be cleaned regularly, and if there is any noise or no operation, it should be replaced.
5. Abnormal noise from elevator motors is usually caused by a problem with the frequency converter, such as unbalanced three-phase current in the motor, which requires maintenance. If the frequency converter fails, the damage may be more severe.
6. If you don't have maintenance experience, don't repair it yourself. Instead, hire professional maintenance personnel to repair it. Playing around on your own will make the frequency converter worse.
